Bill Myers is a life long Virginia resident, having been born in Virginia Beach. After working in the television industry locally, he became a teacher of Television Production at the Virginia Beach Technical and Career Education Center. He retired in 2014 after teaching for 26 years.
Debbie has been a Virginian for 35 years. Her first job was at WNIS radio as a talk show host. She has worked in radio and television news and public relations. She retired in 2014 after 29 years in healthcare public relations, the last 15 as Senior Vice President with PadillaCRT.
Bill and Debbie have two daughters who live with their families on opposite sides of the state; one in Chesapeake and one near Abingdon.
They have had a love affair with all parts of Virginia and are looking forward to sharing their adventures rediscovering this great state, and living as retired Baby Boomers.
I love the concept behind the blog and the name. I look forward to following you in your travels. Your friend and neighbor, Evelyn

Hey..thanks for the card and this link. Funny you had Floyd, Va. listed. A movie was made there last year… http://www.geographicallydesirable.net/ . It was done by an ex ABC TV editor named Mike Kravinsky. I was hearing neat stories about Floyd thru a friend and co worker. Steve
